Program Review

ANOTHER "Wendell U" Program AT IT'S FINEST!  If you've attended Dale
Monette programs before, you already know what I'm talking about. If you
haven't, you need to be there. Dale is not just the premier wildlife
photographer of all things Quabbin, he's also among the last of the old
school, Yankee style presenters, understated and rye, captivating the
audience with his "yarns", (all of which are true!) Each one of his
presentations is unique, in focus, images and accompanying stories. This
program called, "I See You: Stories from Wetlands and Woods",  presents D
ale's favorite unpublished images, and the story behind what it took to
capture the image.

Growing up in Athol, Dale has explored the Quabbin since childhood. He's
had a long career working for DCR as a Quabbin educator and on Quabbin
projects. Somewhere along the way he got (beyond) great with his camera. In
retirement he's been focused on his photography craft; putting it all into
book form and into presentations so we can enjoy his unique lens into the
world of Quabbin wildlife. Dale is a long time resident of New Salem along
with this partner Sharon Tracy. He can be found each year selling prints of
his work, and his books at the Wendell Holiday Fair.
